QA Team Leader

Key Responsibilities  

• Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team, ensuring effective performance and continuous improvement.

• Define, implement, and maintain QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Plan, execute, and oversee manual and automated testing activities across projects.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test reports aligned with project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Project Managers, and the CTO to ensure quality is integrated into all development stages.
• Review and approve test results, defect reports, and release readiness.
• Track, prioritize, and manage bugs and issues using issue-tracking tools.
• Ensure proper test coverage for functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Monitor project timelines and QA deliverables to ensure on-time releases.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing efficiency, tools, and methodologies.
• Support production releases and assist in troubleshooting post-release issues.

• Ensure compliance with security, performance, and quality standards.

Requirements  

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance with at least 2+ years in a leadership or senior QA role.

• Strong experience in manual testing; automation experience is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

• Experience working in CI/CD environments.
• Knowledge of performance or security testing.

• Experience mentoring and growing QA team members.  
  
   

Communication & Education  

• Strong communication skills (English required).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
